HAIFA, Israel, June 21, 2021 / PRNewswire / – ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. (NYSE: ZIM), a global container liner, and, the world’s leading B2B eCommerce platform and a division of the Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA), announced today that they are extending their cooperation agreement for another two years.

The agreement that enables sellers to book and purchase ocean freight on ZIM and logistics services from ZIM Logistics China, a wholly owned subsidiary of ZIM, has now been extended to serve buyers. This collaboration helps offer its customers a lower cost transit alternative to air freight, with an easy-to-use interface that is directly available on the platform. ZIM’s extensive network of routes, particularly the recently launched dedicated eCommerce express lines, provide customers with reliable, fast and high quality freight services, product support and system optimization. The successful cooperation has existed since 2020 and the significant growth in eCommerce and the demand for freight capacities in the last year have prompted the parties to deepen their cooperation.
