Upcycled by LA-based circular fashion initiative Atelier & Repairs, RealReal ReCollection 01 celebrates and honors American craftsmanship by incorporating unfinished American quilts into every look to give it a new life. Each piece has been manufactured in accordance with ReCollection’s high sustainability standards, including the manufacture of virgin material, a zero-waste process and a fair wage, made in American production.
The ReCollection program is an extension of The RealReal’s work to keep luxury items in circulation. Building on its roots in reselling, the company introduced repair services into its retail stores to preserve clothing, accessories, fine jewelry and watches. ReCollection extends this work to address the large volume of goods that can no longer survive in their current state and are at greater risk of being part of the value of textiles in garbage trucks that are dumped or burned every second *. This upcycling program is possible because luxury goods can have many new lives due to their quality and craftsmanship.

RealReal ReCollection 01 offers more than 50 unique pieces, from ready-made clothing for women and men to accessories and quilts that are a nod to the American craftsmanship that inspired the collection. Each piece was made with items donated by the collection’s eight brand partners. Prices range from $ 195 to $ 2,450. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each piece will be donated to One Tree Planted to support reforestation efforts around the world.
